Frozen Flow
With all my winter projects, I don’t have much free time to get out shooting. I was doing some location scouting for another CBC filming bit, and explored a few local waterfalls.
Time was limited, but I could have spent all day shooting. Where the ice meets the flowing water was more interesting than anything else, and this is the image I came up with. I think we’ve picked two locations for the next shoot.
I had to perch myself on a large boulder covered in four feet of snow right by the water’s edge, the safest place to be without knowing exactly where the flowing water began under the snow. I wish I could have gotten closer!
