Springtime in the Marsh
This little muskrat was diving in and about the cattail reeds in a local flooded marsh area. It was as curious about me as I was of it, but never stopped chomping away at it’s favoruite food, the cattails.
I had pulled over to check my truck after driving through a number of flooded roads in the springtime. As I bend down to clean some mud off, I spotted this little guy confused as to what I was and why I was there.
Photographed at the Minesing Marsh, near Barrie, Ontario.
