Fantasy Farmland

This nearby farm has always caught my eye. I’d like to do a star trail shot from roughly this location, but when I went to find out who owns it and get permission I couldn’t find anyone. This image is taken from the roadside in infrared light, producing a dreamy and surreal look. View it large!

The camera will capture some variation in light wavelengths, allowing me to play with some colours. These colours would be deep reds outside of human perception, so I re-map them back into a more familiar range that creates a blue sky.

We’ve had a good number of days with bright sun and beautiful clouds, and during the harsh midday light the landscapes come alive in IR. So much fun!
