Rocky Sunset

A rocky shore as the sun sets into twilight in the Caribbean. The air was warm and with nothing but the sound of the waves, we watched the night begin.

I am a firm believer that “its not the camera, its the photographer”. This image was taken with a sub-$100 point and shoot camera. I sat on the rocks and held the camera down at water level. I had very few settings to play with, so the image is created automatically, with me in control of the composition.

I took about 10 photos to get this one. Multiple shots on this camera were not easy to do – working within technical limitations can still create beautiful images.
