City Under the Stars

I took this image from the top of The Blue Mountains, overlooking Collingwood, Ontario. There was some fog forming over Georgian Bay which I think added a nice extra layer to the image.

I stacked 82 images covering a total time of 41 minutes to generate this image. Unfortunately, a number of planes went by during the exposure and I spent the better part of an hour cleaning it up. I only got to bed at 4AM, but thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.

This was taken with a fisheye lens, and the horizon distortion was corrected in post-processing to give a more natural look.
